FLYBE
has confirmed it will launch three of the seven routes left open following
Buzz’s departure from Bournemouth Airport.
The
carrier will start services from Southampton to Murcia, Malaga and Toulouse
from May 19, its first summer sun destinations. It decided not to pursue Buzz’s
abandoned routes Glasgow Prestwick, Amsterdam, Bergerac and Paris Charles de
Gaulle as they didn’t fit with its future strategy.
Buzz
was set to launch the services from Bournemouth Airport but Ryanair scrapped
them following its take-over of the low-cost rival.
