belgrade flights suspended

TRAVELLERS flying to the Serbian capital of Belgrade can
expect disruption following the assassination of prime minister Zoran Djindjic.

A state of emergency has been declared and flights from
Belgrade’s airport have been suspended for the foreseeable future.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has warned that visitors
should be cautious as there is a heightened risk of political demonstrations.
