ABTA has received “hundreds of calls” from concerned
holidaymakers over the risks of travelling.
Callers have been asking which countries are safe and
which are not. Members of the public also wanted reassurance on flying. The
association said even people going to places such as Spain were worried, while
some were checking Europe’s air space would remain open during an Iraqi war.
However, the association said most people were not
cancelling holidays.
