THE
Foreign and Commonwealth Office is “strongly advising against” travel to
Taipei, Taiwan due to the risk of SARS.
The
Tianjin and Inner Mongolia regions of China have also been added to the travel
advisory, which advises against travel to Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanxi and
Guangdong in China.
Earlier
this month Toronto, Canada was removed from the list after going 10 days
without a new SARS case.
Over 500 people worldwide have died from SARS from
more than 7,000 recorded cases.
