Hong Kong travel advisory lifted

THE
Hong Kong Tourism Board has welcomed the World Health Organisation’s announcement
today that it has removed its advisory against non-essential travel to Hong
Kong.

The WHO has also lifted its advice
against travel to the Chinese province of Guangdong, however warnings for the
rest of China, including Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Taiwan and
Tianjin, remain in place.

HKTB
chairman Selina Chow said it would implement a campaign of special offers to
stimulate travel.
