SCOTTISH
charter operation Scotflight is trialing a service from Glasgow and Edinburgh
to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The
carrier is running a daily flight between October 10 and 24 to cater for the
school break. Director Margaret Matheson said the service could be repeated at
Christmas, Easter and for six weeks during the summer if successful.
She
said: “If the route proves as popular as we anticipate it will be rolled out as
a more regular service.”
The
company puts together its own packages and sells predominantly direct, but
Matheson said it is keen to do more work with agents.
