AVIS Europe has appointed Murray Hennessy as chief executive
for the Avis Group.
He joins from the John Lewis Partnership where he was
commercial director and replaces Mark McCafferty, who resigned in September.
Avis Europe deputy chairman Alun Cathcart, who has been
acting as interim chief executive, will continue until Hennessy joins in March.
