Rzymowska waves goodbye to Mickey

WALT Disney Parks and Resorts is on the
lookout for a new vice-president of marketing and sales UK and Ireland
following Jo Rzymowska’s decision to leave.

Rzymowska, who has spent a total of six years with
Disney, said she had no immediate plans but would stay in travel.

Rzymowska joined Disney in 1995 as Walt Disney
Attractions travel industry marketing manager Europe and was poached by
Universal Studios three years later.

In November 1999 she joined start-up online retailer
Dreamticket.com with former Rapid Travel chief executive Lawrence Hunt, but
returned to Disney in March 2001 as managing director for UK, Ireland and
Nordic after Dreamticket folded.

“I’m just going to take some time out,” she said.

Rzymowska will stay with
Disney for the next three months.
