LIBRA Holidays interim managing director Kevin Ivie is
stepping down from the role next week.
Ivie, who had been expected to take the job on a
permanent basis, will leave on May 4, although he will continue on a
consultancy basis until the end of June.
Ivie joined the operator last September to oversee a
complete review of its business which has seen staff numbers reduced and the
closure of Travelseekers, its Birmingham-based call centre.
Libra group director and head of tour
operations Akis Kyprianou will take over the day-to-day running of the company.
He said Libra was on track
for a successful 2004 after enduring a tough 2003.
