Kuoni forecasts 25% increase in business

KUONI expects a 25% increase in North America business in 2000, following the release of its new US programme, which includes a wider range of products and an enhanced tailor-made service.

Kuoni managing director Sue Biggs said:”Travellers are seeking more flexibility in their holidays as well as increased choice. So over the last 12 months we have listened to our clients and produced a brochure for the new millennium. In addition to the expanded programme, we have developed an on-line link with partner Americantours International. This opens up a new dimension of choice because we can check instant availability at over 2,000 hotels.”

With the new-look brochure comes a doubling of contracted hotels in Las Vegas, with five nights available from £429. Five-night Seattle city breaks are also available from £465. Memphis and Nashville in Tennessee are new destinations; Nashville leads in at £365 for five nights.

Kuoni has also expanded its selection of multi-centre holidays with the introduction of New York/Las Vegas seven-night packages from £549 on Continental Airlines using direct departures from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. Trailblazer is an inclusive 10-night coach tour exclusive to Kuoni, which includes San Francisco, Las Vegas and Arizona from £1,098 per person.
