Funway adds new product for 2000 push

FUNWAY Holidays has expanded its main 2000 programme to feature new product in California, the west, Nevada, the Deep South and the Capital Region.

Called USA Any Way You Like It, the brochure is valid to March 2001 and introduces apartments in California and more western self-drive tours.

Funway has extended its offer of free one-way drop-offs for hire cars to include California, Arizona and Nevada, and is featuring a new itinerary to take advantage of this. The 13-night package, called The Old, New and Wild West, combines Phoenix, Las Vegas and San Diego, and costs from £689 including flights, hotels and car hire.

Funway managing director Stephen Hughes said:”California has always been a flydrive market but clients now want to venture further afield into Nevada and Arizona.”

The deluxe apartments, located in Laguna Beach, Palm Springs, Carlsbad and San Diego cost from £504 for one week.

A wider range of self-drives and hotel stays are also offered in the Deep South, with an 11-day Southern Sensational Music itinerary costing from £309 for each of four people sharing accommodation and a car, excluding flights.
