Europe at leisure
Coach tour operator Trafalgar Tours has introduced a new flexible itinerary of Eastern Europe visiting Vienna, Prague and Budapest in its recently launched Europe 2000 brochure.
The tour falls into the operator’s new Europe at Leisure concept, designed to strike a balance between sight seeing and relaxing. Trafalgar Tours director of sales Matthew Lepisto said: “We have always featured these cities but they were part of a much bigger European tour and passengers only had one night in each place. The whole thing was very rushed.”
Now, holidaymakers can spend at least three nights in Prague and Vienna. “UK travellers like to relax while they are away so the tour is very flexible. They can do pre and post-tours in Vienna, day excursions are optional and flights can also be arranged independently so the tours can be land-based packages only,” said Lepisto. An eight-night package, including flights leads in at £750 per person staying in the Hilton Plaza and Forum hotel in Vienna and the Holiday Inn in Prague.
