SOFT-adventure operator Explore Worldwide has added an eight-day Alpine Lakes of Slovenia tour for summer 2000.
The new tour takes in Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Triglav National Park and costs from £495 per person.
The deal includes scheduled flights from Heathrow with Adria Airways, transfers, all ground transport, bed-and-breakfast accommodation and the services of a tour leader and local guides.
Operations director Derek Moore said: “The scenery is similar to the Alps in Austria. There is great walking country around Lake Bled and in Triglav National Park. Slovenia is more akin to Austria and has never been involved in the post-Yugoslavia break-up problems.”
