CRESTA has predicted a boost in tourism to Northern Ireland following fresh hopes for a political settlement.
Launching its 2000 programme, the Altrincham-based short-break specialist predicted growth in excess of 25% next year.
Managing director Steve Kimber said: “In a year when short-break sales across Europe have been fairly flat our programme to Ireland has shown phenomenal growth. With the onset of political stability and a lasting peace in Northern Ireland, we are confident that the growth patterns we have established will increase.”
The brochure is split into five geographical regions, each containing a list of must-see attractions. Coach tours have also been increased in the programme.
