The resort
Located in the heart of the Riviera Maya on a private beach, Sunscape Puerto Aventuras Riviera Maya is a stunning resort community complete with a nine-hole golf course, two shimmering pools (one for adults only) and a 30-person beachside Jacuzzi.
Our natural saltwater pool forms a quiet, calm oasis in the Caribbean Sea whilst the resort enjoys fabulous views over the water, the perfect location for enjoying breathtaking ocean sunsets.
Accommodations
Our accommodations are finely decorated in bright colors, feature polished-stone floors, and are furnished with one king or two double beds.
Terraces or patios provide our guests with great views of the marina or ocean, while inside the room air conditioning, a marble bathroom, satellite TV and an inclusive, daily refreshed mini-bar make it the perfect place to retire for some privacy or pampering.
Get active
There’s no excuse for not taking to the water at Sunscape Puerto Aventuras Riviera Maya. Not only can we offer our guests the second-largest barrier reef in the world just 100 yards from the beach, we’re also a PADI Gold Palm Resort – making us the perfect place for novice divers to learn, while pro-divers will be thrilled by ‘cenote’ dives into extensive underground tunnels.
Up on the surface, guest can have a go on hobiecats, kayaks and catamarans, or just snorkel and enjoy the view! Between June and September we offer the extremely popular whale shark safari, which gives participants a chance to get incredibly close to the largest species of fish on Earth. Alternatively, there’s unadulterated fun to be had on the ocean trampoline!
Things are equally busy on land: as well as our fully-equipped fitness center, there’s also beach volleyball, cycling, bocce ball, dance lessons, Euro-bungee and much more to keep you active.
Explorer’s Club for kids
There’s also no chance of the kids getting bored – not with their own “tribal village” to enjoy!
The Explorer’s Club has its headquarters in this great themed playground, and will keep younger guests (3 – 12 years) enthralled with a climbing wall, arts & crafts, sandcastle competitions, nature excursions, big screen movies on the beach and kids-only camp outs.
Relax
Our Spa complex offers a wide range of health and beauty treatments, some available on outdoor massage “palapas”.
Body treatments, hydrotherapy, waxing, hairdressing and a multitude of different massages are just a few of the ways in which we can pamper you. And when you’re done, relax in our steam bath, sauna or outdoor Jacuzzi.
Dining
Sunscape Puerto Aventuras Riviera Maya is served by five gourmet restaurants, four fully à la carte. Between them they offer:

Diners are also treated to unlimited premium brand drinks, and wine from our extensive cellar. Naturally all meals are inclusive and do not require reservations.

Our nightly entertainment programme includes spectacular stage shows, a family movie every night, a weekly manager’s cocktail party, and stargazing bonfire parties.
