BCP is touring the country to train agents on its new bookable website.
The airport car-parking firm overhauled its website earlier this year and it now automatically brings up quotes for three types of service; basic airport parking, meet and greet and the chauffeur service.
As an aid to clinching the sale, the site also produces a price the customer would pay if they turned up at the car park without a booking – in
some cases this can be 35% more expensive.
BCP southern regional manager Jenny Adamou, who will be in Swansea training Thomson Cruise callcentre agents next week, said: “The site can help agents to up-sell and increase their commission, so it’s important the trade is fully trained on all the facilities it has to offer.”
Agencies that want training should call BCP’s travel trade helpdesk on 0870 013 4700.
