Inghams expands Japan ski product

Inghams' new Japan ski trips can be extended to TokyoINGHAMS Travel has extended its ski product range in Japan and expects to achieve 10% growth from its 2006/07 ski programme as a result.

Inghams claims to have enjoyed its second most profitable winter last year, despite a challenging season with heavy discounts that were caused by too much charter capacity.

Bookings are already ahead for this winter and expected to help fuel the 10% growth.

The operator has added two new resorts in Japan – Rusutsu and Niseko – as flight prices to Japan and accommodation costs have come down recently. Prices start from £995 on a half-board basis. The trip can also be extended with time in Tokyo or Kyoto.

Inghams has also added five new flights including Bristol to Kittila, Stansted to Sofia and Southampton to Innsbruck.

Brochure prices start from £217 per person based on six staying in a three-room villa at the Malina Villas in the resort of Pamporovo in Bulgaria on a self-catering basis.
