KOSMAR Villa Holidays has promoted Abhi Dighe to managing director.
He has worked for the Greece specialist for 20 years, serving the last eight as operations director. He will now be responsible for all operations and the day-to-day running of the company.
The promotion, which is immediate, was announced yesterday (October 3) and Dighe replaces Kostas Markou who has moved to the operator’s owner XL Leisure Group as accommodation contracting managing director.
Based in Greece, Markou will be responsible for contracting all the group’s accommodation in the Eastern Mediterranean. Despite having resigned as Kosmar managing director, he remains a non-executive director.
