NEW resort accommodation-only provider Youtravel.com is poised to announce at least one acquisition in a bid to establish itself as a major player in the UK.
The web-based company will be based in Surrey, suggesting an acquisition of an existing business in the county.
New sales and marketing director Paul Riches, who starts work at the company next week, said: “We will look to expand in the UK and may acquire other businesses that fit our model. We want to break into the market quickly and become a major player.”
He confirmed that although the company, which is currently recruiting a team of around 12 staff, will focus on accommodation-only. It also plans to sell ancillaries.
