Travelsupermarket.com lets users compare flight surcharges – 18 Oct 2006

TRAVELSUPERMARKET.COM has added a facility to allow consumers to compare additional flight charges and other essential information.

Airlines’ differing policies over the inclusion of additional charges in advertised prices can make it difficult for meta-search users to compare prices.

To get around the problem, Travelsupermarket.com has introduced a flights information button which includes details of extra charges, the number of stopovers and flight times.

Director Chris Nixon said: “People can now compare one flight against another based on a range of details and not just the price.”
