The World Travel and Tourism Council will launch the theme of next year’s Global Travel and Tourism Summit at World Travel Market on Monday.
The summit will take place in Lisbon on May 10 – 12 and the Portuguese secretary of state for Tourism, the Portuguese Host Committee and the WTTC will be holding a reception at the Portugal Pavilion at WTM to announce details.
The summit provides travel and tourism companies the chance to talk about the future of the industry.
Meanwhile the WTTC has announced the appointment of its new chairman – Abercrombie and Kent chairman and chief executive Geoffrey Kent. Kent will take over from current chairman Vincent Wolfington in the new year.
