Zoom Airlines has announced a new ski route from the UK to Canada, departing from Glasgow.
It will be brought in to help meet demand for its low-cost schedule flights through winter, the company said.
Prices start from £129 one-way plus taxes for the Calgary flights, with a full schedule service onboard and no extra charges for skis or sporting equipment.
Zoom said it carried 5,000 people, including skiers and snowboarders, to Calgary last winter.
Debbie Marshall, UK director of Zoom Airlines, said: “Canada has steadily been increasing in popularity as a top ski destination and we have experienced a great demand for our Calgary service from British snowsports devotees.
“Already over 1,000 people have booked seats on the new Glasgow to Calgary service which is a tremendous take-up.”
