Netherlands dons dancing shoes

The Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions is targeting Britons interested in dance and music with its 2007 promotion programme. A wide range of dance and music events will be showcased across the country ranging from dance and clubbing, modern and classical dance and music. Britons can see the Holland based Cello Octet Conjuncto iberico at the Wigmore Hall in London on November 18 if they would like a preview.

Airlines boost services

Eastern Airlines has launched a new flight that will operate between Durham Tees Valley Airport and Brussels. The route will operate twice-daily from Monday to Friday and takes one hour and 50 minutes. Additionally, VLM has launched the only direct service from Manchester to Antwerp. The service will fly twice-daily from Monday to Saturday and takes one hour 40 minutes.

Dolce La Hulpe to open in February

The Dolce La Hulpe Brussels hotel is due to open next February. Located in the Soignes Forest (Swan Forest) the hotel is less than 10 miles from Brussels city centre, the airport and the South train station. Hotel facilities include two bars, the Dolce Vital Spa, an indoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, a beach volleyball field, jogging trails and mountain bike, golf and horse riding in the surroundings.
