Future Travel joins PSARA – 14 Nov 2006

Homeworking firm Future Travel has become a member of the Passenger Shipping Association Retail Agents Scheme (PSARA).

In an agreement that is a first for the homeworking sector, Future Travel brings 200 new members to the scheme, raising its total membership to 4,000 agents.

PSARA has recently relaunched its website and a series of new training modules for agents. It also has ambitious plans for a consumer facing brand to promote PSARA-trained agents to consumers.

Director of business development Andy Harmer said the deal was a real coup for the industry training organisation. “Future Travel clearly recognises the economic benefit cruising can bring to a business,” he said.

“With 1.25 million British travellers expected to take a cruise by the end of this year, and with so many agents benefitting from what PSARA can offer, we constantly review and expand our training to make sure our members are up to date with the very latest products, trends, skills and knowledge they need.”
