Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has appointed former aviation director for the First Choice Group Claire Trevis as its new manager for air and sea.
Reporting directly to UK operations director Paul Randall, she will head up two teams of 20 people running the aviation activities of both the Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises brands.
The role has not had a dedicated person since 2004 when Randall was promoted. He said: “We are really delighted to have Claire join the Royal Caribbean team. The appointment of such a high calibre travel professional as Claire possessing such key aviation knowledge truly demonstrates our commitment to fly/cruise.
“In a time when our ex-UK sailings are experiencing success and generating significant growth, we are determined not to lose focus on our traditional fly/cruise market and are committed to providing the best product possible for our guests.”
Trevis added: “I am really excited about cruising and thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic and evolving industry.”
