Thomas Cook has launched a specialist cruise brand as it looks to consolidate itself as the number one cruise retailer in the UK.
A significant vote of confidence in the growing UK cruise market, which Thomas Cook has an 8% market share of, Cruise Thomas Cook will look to increase the expertise in the holiday giant’s online, in-store and telephone selling channels.
The move comes after the launch of the first phase of the Thomas Cook Cruise Academy that has seen all 6,000 sales consultants trained and has become part of the induction process for new employees.

To help agents and customers a free new booklet has been published that offers advice for new to cruise customers and experienced customers. An initial print run of 300,000 has been ordered.
