Norwegian Cruise Line eyes UK growth – 30 Nov 2006

Norwegian Cruise Line has launched its biggest and longest sale and is discussing increasing ex-UK capacity.

Agents are being sent details of cabin upgrades of up to four categories and flight upgrades on selected departures with third-edition brochures featuring the cruiseline’s new look. Additional incentives for bookings before February 28 include a celebration pack worth £59 for guests celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary, and for families a Kid’s Crew Backpack for two to 12-year-olds or Teen Passport for 13 to 17-year-olds.

UK general manager Francis Riley said NCL is looking to increase capacity in 2008. “We have seen the growth of the UK market and we believe there is room for NCL to be part of that,” he said.
