Thomson adds vow renewal to Weddings and Honeymoons product – 1 Dec 2006

Thomson Weddings, Honeymoons & Renewal of Vows brochure 2007-2008 Thomson has completely overhauled its Wedding and Honeymoon programme to include vow renewal for the first time.


The 2007 brochure is now titled Weddings, Honeymoons and Renewal of Vows to capture the growing market of married couples looking to renew their vows.


The programme’s design has been changed to make it look like a magazine instead of a brochure.


Head of new product development Stephen Lane said: “We want couples to keep it on their coffee table alongside their wedding magazines and use it as a reference tool.”


More information on resorts and hotels has been added to help couples make their choice.


Lane added 14% of all weddings take place abroad and he believes the figure will rise further as people realise how easy it is to marry overseas.


Scilly has been added to the programme for the first time with wedding packages starting from £799, while more hotels have been added in Cyprus.


The programme now covers 124 hotels in 13 destinations worldwide.
