Luxury cruise operator Silversea has released details of its 2008 World Cruise that it hopes will build on the popularity of this year’s inauguaral circumnavigation.
The 110-day Rythmns of the World voyage on 382-passenger Silver Shadow will leave Fort Lauderdale in Florida on January 16, 2008, taking in more than 25 countries and 50 different ports of call.
The cruise, that offers guests a private transfer and baggage handling service, onboard spending credit and escorted shore excursions, among other special features, goes on sale in the UK on January 2 and the complete itinerary and pricing will be available on the Silversea website.
Silversea UK vice-president of sales and marketing Trudy Redfern said: “Not only will our guests have the chance to visit incredible destinations and explore fascinating cultures during their voyage, but they’ll enjoy an expanded programme of onboard land-based enrichment activities along the way.”
The 2008 World Cruise will make inaugural cruises for the operator in the Marshall Islands, Pohnepi in Micronesia, Apra Habour on the island of Guam and in the historic port of Jima.
