Club 18-30 increases charity donation – 2 Jan 2007

Youth tour operator Club 18-30 has raised more than £1800 for charity, more than £200 more than last year.

The company has donated £5 for every 100 customer survey forms returned during the year to HIV and sexual health charity the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Brand delivery executive Heidi Lester said: “We are proud of the support we have given to the Terrence Higgins Trust over the years and delighted to have set a new record this season by raising £1832.40.”

He added: “We do feel it is a reflection of how seriously we take the issue of advising and informing our guests of practicing safer sex and the dangers associated with unprotected sex and the pro-active work we do with a variety of agencies. We are committed to continuing that responsible approach.”

Terrence Higgins Trust’s corporate partnerships officer Mark Hopkinson said: “We’re delighted to be working with Club 18-30 again this year. This is a fantastic donation in support of our work with people affected by HIV and sexual ill-health”.
