Complete Cruise Solution has announced its biggest-ever trade giveaway and a first expansion of its sales team, underlining its commitment to working with travel agents.
Recruitment is under way for six roles created by the marketing arm of P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises and Ocean Village, taking the number of account managers to 61.
The expansion will also see an additional region created, taking the total number to five with a team of nine covering each area.
New for 2007 Complete Cruise Solution has introduced its Get to the Galleon incentive for agents offering 75 cruises and 100 places on inaugural events for bookings made until February 28.
Head of sales Giles Hawke said expanding the sales team represented an investment approaching £250,000 and would allow the number of accounts handled by each executive to be cut.
“This is increasing our head count by 10%, which is a pretty significant investment, and we’ll be able to offer closer account management,” he said.
