Travel recruitment firm Gail Kenny Executive Search has claimed to be the first company in the industry to launch a dedicated web-based division for online professionals.
PureGenie, launched with website puregenie.com in December, will recruit all staff levels for online travel jobs. Gail Kenny Executive Search continues to specialise in senior positions.
Sales and marketing director Ian Brooks said demand for e-commerce professionals has grown substantially. “We knew if we didn’t do this someone else would. The biggest demand is for search engine optimisation and marketing staff on £30,000-£40,000,” he said.
Brooks added online job boards do advertise for the e-commerce sector, but none has dedicated staff to provide a full service to recruiting companies.
Claire White has joined from Octopus Travel as dedicated online account manager to launch the new brand.
