First Choice is to expand its Travel Pods network into Morrisons and Waterstone’s stores.
Last year the agency launched Travel Pods in supermarket giants Asda and Sainsbury’s.
Next month it will launch pods in the Waterstone’s book shop in Birmingham New Street and the Wellington, Newark and Norwich Morrison stores.
Retail managing director Cheryl Powell, who came up with the Travel Pod concept while having a manicure in a portable nail bar, said: “These new partnerships are further examples of how we can broaden the retail network even further.”
Before July, a further two shops will be opened in Morrisons – Felixstowe and Liverpool Speke, along with two foreign exchange bureau in Leeds and Stoke.
The brochure-free portable units are around 270 square foot.
