There’s something a little galling about the Valentine’s Day industry – who are they to govern when you should make your play for that honey in accounts? And are roses really any more romantic than the rev of a two-stroke engine?
We’re a bit divided on this one, so to mark the launch of BMI’s new Golden Seat promotion, we’re waving the checkered flag on an evening’s gokarting for you and five colleagues.
BMI is promoting its premium-economy and business-class product with a big push to the trade this month and next. Any agent making a reservation in either premium economy or business can register online for the chance to win one of 500 great prizes, from gokarting sessions, a cowboy experience or a theme park day out.
The top prize is a Mini Cooper, but there are also cinema tickets, restaurant vouchers, beach towels, Bacardi Breezers and Pimm’s up for grabs. You’ll be told instantly if you’ve won, and there are hundreds of prizes to win. The promotion runs from now until the end of next month.
Whether you’ve raced before or if you’re a complete novice, go-karting is souped up, high adrenaline fun. After a briefing and a few practice laps, you’ll compete against other drivers in race heats, semi-finals and finals. The winners receive prizes at the end of the session.
