Own medicine tastes bitter

I refer to the letter of the week from a Lunn Poly manager. Well,I must admit I laughed for hours. Perhaps that particular manager now knows how us little independents feel after supporting Thomson Holidays for years and then finding they open a Lunn Poly shop next door or within a stone’s throw.

Also how well that organisation has tried to direct their shareholders through their own doors by writing direct to them. Not forgetting that a large percentage of those clients did not use Lunn Poly before. A fine case of ‘the pot calling the kettle black.’

As for the comments on Meadway Travel, there is another old proverb, ‘The truth always hurts.’
