Travel technology provider Vertical Group has launched an online system where customers can pay for their holiday, view the itinerary and communicate with their agent through messages.
Sales director Russell Parr said the system would drive customer loyalty and free up agents time to sell more holidays instead of fielding queries from customers face-to-face or on the phone.
Agencies will be charged a one-off fee for every customer that looks at their holiday details online, regardless of how many times they look.
A transaction fee will also be charged to the agency every time a holidaymaker uses the system to pay a part of their holiday off.
Parr added future versions of the system would include the booking of ancillary products, including car hire and travel insurance.
TARSC Online is available to users of the TARSC back office system.
