Future Travel web portal invests in search engine marketing – 8 Feb 2007

Holiday Holiday, the web portal for Future Travel homeworkers, is looking to build on a 50% increase in sales last year by developing its search engine advertising campaign.

Future Travel brand development manager Amanda Taylor believes it is imperative travel agents have a presence on the webThe website was introduced in 2005, giving the firm’s 600 homeworkers the opportunity to have their own websites to promote offers and other details about themselves, specialist areas and destinations.

said the site now ranks high in Google search results for specific areas such as gay and lesbian holidays, and Future hopes to develop rankings further this year.

“We are pushing on the search engines, particularly Google. The site is still being developed and will evolve further. It is an area we want to focus on,” said Taylor.

“It is imperative agents are on the web,” Taylor added. “Holiday Holiday has given homeworkers the web presence they need. They must get online so they can attract new business and compete on a level playing field.”
