Argo Holidays is quizzing agent partners on their preferred brochure distribution company as the operator’s contract with BP Marketing Services comes up for renewal.
Rival brochure distribution company AU Logistics is pitching against BP for the operator’s business.
Marketing and sales director Kathryn Beadle said this was a new approach for the operator. “In the past we have looked at costs, management information and speed of delivery. We have never tackled it from an agent point of view and who they prefer to order their brochures from.”
She added: “I want travel agents to be part of the decision-making process.”
Agents ringing up Argo Holidays’ agency sales will be asked their preference, before a decision is made.
