Thomas Cook has been dropped from the country’s top 20 Big Companies To Work For.
The travel firm entered the list, compiled by The Sunday Times newspaper, for the first time at number 15 last year, but has failed to keep its place for 2007.
In statement, Thomas Cook said the list is “highly competitive” and highlighted both Mothercare and Barclays Bank also failed to make the list this year after appearing in 2006.
Meanwhile, both Flight Centre and Holiday Extras have retained there places in the main Top 100 list.
Flight Centre has jumped from 14 places from 59th in 2006 to 45th place in 2007.
The agency has made the list for the past five years. Holiday Extras is down 20 places to 43rd position in 2007.
