Eurostar suspends services after track-side fire – 16 Mar 2007

Eurostar has had to suspended all services until tommorow night (Saturday) following a track-side fire in London.

The company has said it has no alternative but to suspend its entire operation until 5pm tomorrow after the fire in a yard near Wandsworth Road station.

Due to a risk of gas cylinders exploding, the fire authorities have stated that it will be 24 hours before they can intervene.

Eurostar passengers who are unable to travel can change their date of travel as long as it is within two months or have their tickets refunded.
