UK Cruise Convention 2007
Peter Deilmann MS Deutschland
What did you think of the food and the restaurant?“The food was of excellent quality and very well prepared and the presentation was very good – was definitely five star.
“Saying that, it had a relaxed feel to it and the staff were helpful on board too.”
Terri Higgin, travel agent, Eton Travel, Eton
What do you think of the cabins and the on board facilities?
“It felt like there was a 1920s theme throughout. The cabins were very much in keeping with the rest of the ship with lots of brass and it had the upmarket feel. They were really tasteful.
“There was a big collection of art work as well which was good.”
Alper Ozturk, director, Travel Gateway Ltd, Twickenham
Who would you market this ship to?
“The Deutschland has potentially similar client base to Swann Hellenic and Hebridean passengers. The ship is five star so the people going on board are looking for elegance. There is a huge potential for sale in the UK, the only thing is it is predominately German customers.”
Mervyn Willard, general manager, Baldwins Travel, Tunbridge Wells
