Certain companies are also offering full refunds.
British Airways
According to British Airways customers can rebook their flights for a later date, reroute their journeys via another airport or obtain a refund if their flight has been cancelled.
Passengers who still want to travel to their original destination may rebook on another BA flight or BA franchise flight, subject to availability and certain conditions.
Passengers may also rebook on BA or BA franchise flight to an alternative destination, subject to availability, though they will be responsible for any additional fare.
Some customers may be able to make changes to their bookings on ba.com. Alternatively, the airline says passengers should contact the airline on 0870 850 9850.
BMI

It is recommending passengers allow additional journey time and to use public transport wherever possible.
BMI is offering refunds for booked and ticketed travel on 30 June and 01 July. Passengers who did not travel on 30 June or 1 July may rebook on alternative flights for outbound travel on or before 14 July.
BMI is also waiving the change fee for passengers who want to travel between 14 July and 31 August, though all rebookings must be made by 14 July.

First Choice
A spokesperson from First Choice told Travel Weekly that three of the company’s Glasgow flights were affected over the weekend as a result of the terrorist attack, with one of the flights delayed more than 48 hours.
Affected passengers were given the option of a full refund but only one passenger took the holiday provider up on the offer.

Travel Weekly has asked the operator to clarify whether it is offering affected holidaymakers the option to rebook their travel for a later date or receive a full refund.
