Flight Centre unveils new sales campaign – 4 July 2007

High street retailer Flight Centre will unveil a new logo, sales slogan and advertising campaign from next week, pledging an “unbeatable” price proposition on air fares.

From Monday July 9 a campaign launches to improve the overall customer experience, drawing on the strengths of its sales consultants.

Shops will feature an “unbeatable” proposition, with a new low price promise that pledges if customers find a cheaper airfare in the same booking class sales consultants will beat it.

Head of marketing in the UK Brent Novak said: “Unbeatable is not just about price, it’s about overall choice, value of our holidays and the consultants passion and experience that they bring to the customer.”

An advertising campaign using its own travel consultants will feature online, outdoors and in the press and will include the well-known Flight Centre Captain.

Flight Centre has operated in the UK for just over a decade and will open its 100th high-street shop within two months. This year the company celebrates 25 years in the business.
