Cunard Line has announced its 2009 world cruises on board Queen Mary 2 and the new Queen Victoria are now on sale.
Both liners will undertake their second world cruise, with Queen Mary 2 taking on an 84-day voyage and Queen Victoria a 107-day trip. The liners will meet in Fort Lauderdale on January 13 2009.
Queen Mary 2 adds 10 days and six more ports to its Epic Expedition itinerary from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton, stopping on four continents and making four maiden calls.
Queen Victoria will sail a 107-day Distant Horizons round trip from Southampton on January 2 2009, with calls in 38 ports, including 18 maiden calls, across five continents.
Cunard Line president Carol Marlow said: “When we set out to create a world cruise itinerary, we seek to introduce our guests to new destinations and captivating experiences. These 2009 itineraries are no exception”.
Early booking fares for Queen Victoria’s cruise are from £11,399 per person and Queen Mary 2’s world cruise starts from £9,999 per person.
