British Airways revises Heathrow connection times – 18 Jul 2007

Congestion at Heathrow has forced British Airways to introduce a new policy on connecting times for its flights.

Connection times at Heathrow have been revised with immediate effect for all new bookings up to and including August 31. Passengers with existing bookings are unaffected.

A BA spokesman said: “We have been experiencing a wide range of operational difficulties in the past week or so at Heathrow.

“This has been caused by the security alert on Tuesday and bad weather across Europe, which is delaying passengers transferring through Heathrow and placing an extra burden on the airport’s baggage systems and staff.”

New connecting times

  • All T1-T4 connections to increase to 90 minutes (from 75)
