New Eurostar train schedules will allow business travellers to reach central Paris and Brussels before 9am local time.
The new timetable will come into effect on December 9 following Eurostar’s move from London Waterloo to St Pancres on November 14.
Services from St Pancras will run on new line High Speed 1, which will allow trains to reach speeds of up to 186 mph, shaving at least 20 minutes off journey times.
Travellers will be able to reach Paris in 2hr 15mins, Brussels in 1hr 51mins and Lille in 1hr 20mins.
From February 2008, Eurostar will increase weekday services on the London-Paris route from 15 to 17.
