Flybe is in talks with airport operators to add fast-track security channels to the perks it offers premium travellers, after launching a frequent-flyer scheme last week.
Marketing director Simon Lilley confirmed the regional carrier is in talks with Gatwick operator BAA and others.
“Some airports already have fast-track channels, but others do not and we are interested in investing,” he said.
Last week, Flybe became the first UK low-cost carrier to introduce a comprehensive frequent-flyer programme, offering points redeemable against future flights.
Its Rewards4all scheme offers passengers one point for a one-way economy ticket and two for an Economy Plus fare. Just 16 points earns a free UK return flight.
