The agents had to have made at least one Freedom Flights booking to enter the competition. All entrants were asked the tiebreak question – why they thought they deserved to go – and the best answers won.
Keeping true to the fairytale theme, they arrived at the ball by horse and carriage. They were accompanied by Freedom Flights regional manager Abbey Thomas and Bristol International Airport sales executive Shirley Knight.
We asked a few of the agents what they thought of the event.

“Winning the pamper day was such a surprise. We went to Debenhams and chose whatever we wanted – it was a real Pretty Woman moment.
It took us about 40 minutes to try on our dresses, which was a great bonding exercise as none of us had met before.
We had our hair and make-up done while drinking champagne and strawberries.”

“I felt lucky to go on the pamper day – I’d never won anything like that before. I spotted the dress I wanted straight away in Debenhams.
One of the best parts of the day was the horse-drawn carriage. It was rush-hour traffic and everyone was staring and waving at us. It was great fun.”
Alison Tait, Peter Goord Travel
“It took us all about six hours to get ready as there was one woman styling our hair and two applying make-up.
“I’d never been to a ball before so I didn’t know what to expect but I really enjoyed it.
The food was good, drinks were flowing and we danced all night.”
