Avian flu has struck again after Bali reported its first death from the virus.
A 29-year-old woman in the northwest of the island was found to have been suffering from ‘bird flu’ after she died of multiple organ failure on Sunday. The body of her five-year-old daughter is also being tested following her death 11 days earlier.
The latest death is a fresh blow to Indonesia which has recorded the most bird flu deaths – 82 of the 192 worldwide.
