Page and Moy unveils Christmas and New Year brochure – 17 Aug 2007

Page and Moy has launched its 2007 Christmas and New Year brochure as it prepares to forge closer ties with the trade.

Head of agency sales Colin Wilson, who joined the company from Bourne Leisure in May, said the rest of the operator’s brochures, including its 2008 programme and trade-dedicated publications, will be released next month.

The escorted holiday specialist is hoping to raise its profile in the trade with the release of the Christmas programme – offering 11 short and long-haul destinations – as it aims to secure growth of up to 15%, mainly through working with agents.

Wilson said: “We want to expand the business and the brand. The trade is seen as the best route for accessing new customers, especially as agents are fundamental in helping customers choose which operator to book with.”

He added that the trade-friendly brochures recommend customers book with agents and the operator’s web address has been removed. Prices are the same as they are direct and Wilson said the operator will organise training for interested agents.

Prices in the programme lead in at £699 for the Bregenz and Lake Constance six-night holiday, including three excursions, half-board accommodation and return flights from Heathrow.
